Scramble Grandstand Tabletop VFD Electronic Game with Box & Instructions etc.

I have stripped and serviced the unit, dismantling the screen elements, checking the internal components etc. I have also fitted a brand new old stock DC input jack for trouble-free playing from the mains.

A cool retro game, in superb condition for age - please see the photos of the exact item for sale. The colour booklet is so new, it has to be held open - I only partially opened it just for the photos, so it is mint!

It runs off a DC adaptor or batteries (not supplied). It is nice and loud, with a super bright VFD display. The controls all function beautifully.

The battery cover is present and original, the contacts are clean.

This is a stunning, complete example (please see the pictures of the actual game for sale, taken specifically for the listing. It will obviously have a few light signs of wear after 40+ years. The only thing to mention is slight blistering of the screen surround decal on the bottom corner - again, please see the pictures. A great gift, guilty pleasure, decoration, or talking point for the home or office! There aren't many clean, complete examples out there anymore.
