This unit has had a huge deck service (please see photos), including but not limited to:

New precision-ground main drive and counter belts
Motor oiled
Soft eject mechanism removed, stripped and re-greased
Capstan, pinch roller, heads etc cleaned
Idler rubbers cleaned and rubber-renue treated
Control button panel stripped, switches cleaned and lubricated
Flywheel run-out checked
Speed calibrated (see photo)
Case cleaned
All play modes function correctly (including FF/RW, and the counter display), and the VU meters work well - both lit up nicely too. I have tried around 10-12 cassettes (not included), and they are all working as they should.
The factory claimed wow and flutter specs are 0.04%, and this machine currently achieves an excellent 0.05% on test.
The overall condition is very nice. Some wear and tear for 45 years of age - but in overall good condition with original knobs, switches, VU bulbs etc. Please see the photos and video, as these were taken specifically for the advert and reflect the exact item and condition for sale.
Packaging will be thorough, tracked and insured. The cassette and interconnects are for demonstration only. As per listing title and description, AMPLIFIER AND TEST EQUIPMENT NOT INCLUDED of course!
