A rare opportunity to acquire this excellent cassette recorder model from JVC.
A great example of the JVC Vintage Cassette Recorder in lovely working condition (please see video). Amplifier and interconnects are for demonstration only, and not included (available in my other listings).
This would make for a lovely everyday cassette player, and it also one for the collector due to it's amazing condition.
The motor is smooth and quiet, and all features work.
The cassette speed has been calibrated (see photos). The heads, capstan and pinch roller are cleaned and in great condition. The drive belt has been replaced with a brand new precision-ground belt, and the wow and flutter has been checked - it is amazingly now still running around the 0.05% factory spec (please see the picture).
All play modes function correctly (including FF/RW, and the counter display), and the VU meters work - both lit up nicely too.
An nice clean example with good casing/paintwork. The interior is also very clean and not modified in any way. It is nearly 50 years old, so not mint of course, but a lovely working example nonetheless. Please see the photos for condition, as they were taken on the day of the listing.
