This super-cool model has radio, cassette AND a TV, including the exremely rare full carry case/strap, and even the protective TV hood/shade!
The radio is excellent - sensitive, selective and very clear. It has the original extendable aerial, and picks up loads of stations.
The cassette deck has just had a new belt fitted. It plays, fast-forwards, rewinds and ejects perfectly. The tape counter also works.
The built-in TV also works. It will work as it is for old RF games consoles, and can be made to display modern TV with an adaptor (not included). Please note the black lines on the photos are just the normal CRT scanning vs. shutter speed - the TV functions perfectly normal 'in real life' as it were!
The VU meter for battery/tuning strength works well, as does the radio dial light. Tested on mains only, but the battery contacts are very clean.
The case is in excellent condition, with all popstuds working, and the cassette door flap intact. This is an extremely rare accessory.
It is a vintage item (50 years old). There is wear and tear associated with age and use - but it is overall in lovely condition for its vintage to be fair, with original knobs, etc - please see the photos for condition, as they were taken on the day of the listing.
Packaging will be thorough, tracked and insured, although you are very welcome to collect in person, with a demonstration. Please note that the sale is for the stereo only. Cassette and power lead are for demonstration only. The power lead is the readily available 'Figure of 8' cable, so I do not like to risk transit damage by including them with the vintage, heavy boomboxes.
