A very handsome and solid late 1970's Hitachi Radio Cassette Recorder. It has just had 3 new belts and a general service. All switches move freely and quietly, and the FM radio/light work correctly.
Superb radio, with a rich, clear sound and great speakers (woofers and tweeters on this model). The FM stereo lights up brightly, and it picks up many stations.
The cassette plays nicely, with a strong FF/RW (including counter), and smooth take-up (a common issue on theses units), so no chewing of tapes!
The 'VU' meters work nicely, with all lights illuminating. A very solid unit, and plenty loud for it's size! The handle is strong and intact, and all original casing screws are present/screw in tightly.

Packaging will be thorough, tracked and insured. Please note that the auction is for the stereo only. The cassette and power lead are for demonstration only. The power lead is the readily available 'Figure of 8' cable, so I do not like to risk transit damage by including them with the vintage, heavy boomboxes.
