This genuine, very clean example has been fully serviced & tested and is a rare opportunity for a collector or someone looking for an excellent, original and fully working version of this much admired game. Why risk an 'untested' version when you can obtain a near mint, tested and reliable unit with original battery cover and paperwork? All this within an excellent box too!
In fabulous overall condition, complete with box (which has minor damage/wear for 42 years, but still very good indeed - very solid and retains an excellent sheen), the very rare card box inner/screen protector, instructions, warranty card with original owner details and Grandstand product booklet!
The sound is loud & clear, and the display is bright & vibrant. The buttons and joystick feel like new, and the game has clearly seen very little use.
A wonderful working example. It runs perfectly from 4 'C' batteries or 6V -ve tip adaptor (not supplied) - please see video to see and hear it working (any flashing on the display is due to camera shutter speed - not the game itself).
The battery contacts are very clean, with no previous leaks, and the battery cover is original.
