Why risk an 'untested' version when you can obtain a very clean, tested and reliable unit with battery cover and original box?
The game itself is in very good overall condition, with minor play wear for it's 43 years of age. The box is solid with the Japanese market artwork. Please note that the original young owner has had fun punching loads of pencil holes in the box. I have pressed some of them out, but obviously they do de-face the box (see pictures). That being said, the box is solid, and very rare in any condition, so please consider this a bonus to the rare game within.
The game sound is loud & clear, and the display is very bright & vibrant. The buttons and joystick are responsive and feel 'fresh.'
It runs perfectly from 4 'C' batteries or 6V -ve tip adaptor (not supplied) - please see video to see and hear it working (any flashing on the display is due to camera shutter speed - not the game itself).
The battery contacts are very clean, with no previous leaks, and the battery cover is present.
