Astro Wars Grandstand Tabletop Game. Serviced & Working VFD Arcade. The game itself is in fantastic cosmetic and functional condition. It looks almost like new, with barely a mark on the silver casing or the screen. You will genuinely struggle to find a cleaner game. I have worked on dozens of Astro Wars and this is possibly the cleanest screen I have seen.
The sound is very loud and the screen is super bright - it really is an amazing example!
All controls and sound function perfectly, having been professionally stripped, internally & externally cleaned. It runs perfectly from 4 'C' batteries or 6V -ve tip adaptor (not supplied) - please see video to see and hear it working (any flashing on the display is due to camera shutter speed - not the game itself).
The battery contacts are very clean (almost mirror finish - see picture), with no previous leaks, and the battery cover is present.
Fully working example, in condition as pictured. Complete with all of the following:
Box (which is shelf worn and has some high scores written inside the lid, but still solid and perfectly serviceable for 43 years of age)
